Excitement!

Roll back--(not the walmart types!)--a few years; 4 to be precise, and almost to the date. It was cold and clammy, by the fog-city standards, (yeah i mean delhi/dehli/whatever it is that they want to call it now).
It was not necessarily the most interesting times at work and notwithstanding the regular almost clockwork restructuring, life was dull (the weather silly); projects un-interesting and work life balance most definitely tilted heavily in favor of the home!

Somebody was trying to put games in learning, while another was fixing un-fixable project management issues (there is something called skill which is invariably a basic requirement before any improvement can be achieved!), somebody was disillusioned with quality improvement projects, and of course people were writing loads of content.

Have you ever seen a headless chicken-- its almost an epithet ---i have seen one only on my dinner table---but assuming there ever was the proverbial headless chicken running around; work and life in general felt like that, 4 years ago to the date.

I guess, with hindsight its perhaps not unconventional to think that i should have done something about it; but what the heck-- i was younger. The key is that, anything from that situation would have been excitement, any change, any deviation..even a conversation that was invigorating.

The fateful day, was yet another normal day--and the phone call from God!-- can you meet me in the next 15 minutes ? ----
